4.16. The block of cylinders - cleaning


15.1 For removal of caps use a stripper


1. Drill openings in caps and get them by means of a stripper (15.1).
2. Remove traces of old laying and sealant from the surface of the block of cylinders.
3. Uncover radical bearings and inserts.
4. Remove all caps of the block of cylinders.
5. If the engine very dirty address experts for its cleaning.
6. After cleaning of the block, clean oil channels and wash out them warm water. Dry up the block of cylinders and oil rust proof.

15.7 Clean carving openings in the block of cylinders


7. Clean carving openings in the block of cylinders by means of a ball, then blow them compressed Air (15.7).
8. Establish covers of radical bearings into place, and slightly tighten fixing bolts.

15.9 For installation of new caps use a big head and the extender


9. Grease caps with Permatex N2 sealant and install them on the block of cylinders (15.9).
10. Grease with sealant (such as Permatex N2 or sealant for the pipes Teflon) new caps of oil channels and twirl them in openings in the block of cylinders.
11. If you do not continue assembly of the engine, cover it with a plastic package
