3.11. An inlet collector - removal and installation

1. Pit pressure in fuel system and disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the accumulator
2. Merge a cooler from the cooling system
Removal
Engines of carburetor type
3. Remove the air filter

10:4á Make tags on the disconnected hoses and wires

10:4í Disconnect a fork of the operating electromagnetic valve (1,5 l)

10:4ó Disconnect the operating valves of the exhaust system (1,5 l) from arms

4. Mark (10.4a, 10.4v) and disconnect all hoses, wires, arms, and channels of final system from the carburetor and an inlet collector.
5. Having disconnected fuel hoses from the carburetor also close openings covers to avoid leak.
6. Disconnect a rope of a butterfly valve from the carburetor
7. Disconnect a rope which connects the carburetor and the transmission and a rope of the control system behind the movement (if the car is equipped with it).
8. Unscrew an inlet collector and remove it from the engine.
Engines of injector type
9. Disconnect an airintaking hose.
10. Mark and disconnect all hoses, wires, arms, and channels of final system from system of injection of fuel and an inlet collector.
11. Remove ropes of the distributor and an accelerator.

10:12 Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters) fixing the fuel highway

12. Unscrew bolts which fix the fuel highway to an inlet collector (10.12) and remove the highway.

10:13 Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters), which fix the camera of elevated pressure to a collector

13. In SOHC engines unscrew bolts which fix the camera with the elevated pressure of air to an inlet collector (10.13). Remove the camera.
14. Lift the car and fix it on the supports established under axes.

10:15 Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters) fixing an arm of an inlet collector

15. Unscrew the bolts fixing the lower arm of a collector to the engine (10.15).

10.16a Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters) fixing an inlet collector to a head of cylinders

10.16b Try not to damage the joined surfaces

16. Unscrew an inlet collector and remove it from the engine (10.16a, 10.16b)
Installation

10:17 Accurately clean off the remains of old laying from the joined surface of an inlet collector

17. Carefully clean the joined surfaces of a collector and a head of cylinders (10.17).
18. Establish a collector, using new laying. Tighten nuts till the required inhaling moment.
19. Establish the remained details.
20. Fill in a cooler, start the engine and check it for existence of leaks.
