1.43.7. Wear sign

In the basis of a profile of a company set of tires across to the direction of rotation there are "wear indicators" 1,6 mm high - watch the drawing. Depending on a product these indicators of wear of 6-8 times are located through
identical intervals on a tire circle. Markings on tire sidewalls (for example, the letters "TWI" or triangular symbols) designate an arrangement of indicators of wear.
At a residual profile of 1 mm - measured in any place of a protector - the allowed minimum depth of a profile will be reached.
As worn-out tires at big speeds of the movement on the wet road do not provide the required coupling with the surface of the carriageway any more and lead to "emersion" of the car rather. It is recommended not to subject tires to such big wear.
